APPLICATION
Building
The application scope of wire rope isolators and elastomer isolators in civil construction is extensive. They can effectively reduce the impact of vibration on building structures and functional use, as well as enhance the seismic performance and safety of buildings. With continuous technological progress and increasing market demand, their application prospects in civil construction are promising.
Isolators are key components of seismic isolation floors and are widely used in special building facilities such as air-raid shelters and underground command posts. By installing isolators on the structure, it is possible to effectively reduce the vibration response caused by explosions or earthquakes, protecting the safety of the upper structure and the personnel and equipment inside.
In the mechanical and electrical systems of civil buildings, isolators can be used to reduce the vibration and noise generated by equipment during operation. For example, in the elevator systems, ventilation systems, and water supply and drainage systems of high-rise buildings, the installation of isolators can effectively reduce the impact of vibration on the building structure and its functional use. Moreover, in buildings with high comfort requirements, such as high-end hotels and concert halls, isolators are also used in the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment to enhance the quality of use of the building.
In the seismic retrofitting of existing buildings, isolators can be installed as energy-dissipating elements in key parts of the building structure. By absorbing and dissipating seismic energy, the impact of earthquakes on the building structure can be reduced, thereby improving the seismic performance of the building. This technology is particularly suitable for building renovations in earthquake-prone areas.
Isolators can also be used in the construction and demolition of high-rise buildings. For example, during the erection and dismantling of scaffolding, isolators can reduce vibration during the construction process to ensure construction safety. In addition, during the demolition of buildings, isolators can be used for the buffering of supporting structures to prevent structural damage caused by vibration.
With the rise of green buildings and smart homes, the application of isolators in energy conservation and improving living comfort is also increasing. For example, the use of low-noise, high-efficiency isolators can reduce energy consumption in building operations while enhancing the comfort of the living environment.
