In the marine equipment field, the vibration damping effect of winch installation systems directly affects equipment stability and service life. Recently, we received a customer request to customize a set of 6 vibration isolators for their marine winch installation system, with clear core technical requirements: a total dynamic load of 10 tons, a total static load of 25 tons, a winch weight of 10 tons, and a 45° installation configuration.
In response to these precise requirements, our team has developed the GS7000 wire rope isolators as a special project. During the design phase, we fully considered the particularities of the marine environment and the load characteristics of the winch during operation. By optimizing the wire rope structure parameters and adjusting the installation angle adaptation plan, we ensured that the isolators can stably bear the total static load of 25 tons while efficiently buffering the total dynamic load of 10 tons. They perfectly match the weight requirement of the 10-ton winch, and the 45° installation design also accurately meets the customer’s installation configuration requirements.
What is more noteworthy is that on the premise of ensuring the product performance meets the standards, we have saved the customer nearly 30% of the cost by optimizing the production process and supply chain management. At present, the customized GS7000 wire rope isolators have completed testing, and all indicators meet the technical specifications of the marine winch installation system, providing the customer with a cost-effective vibration damping solution.
